Emma Hackett was delighted to host online past pupil(2016) Cathal McGovern in her Third Year (3A) English class last Tuesday afternoon. Cathal gave a wonderful online presentation about his passion "Creative Writing." He spoke at length about the importance of reading and about creative writing as a career path. We look forward to welcoming Cathal back to the classroom real soon. Subsequently, 3A paid a visit to Athy Library Thursday morning, in order to discover the benefits of our library and the wonderful resources on offer. The librarians were so impressed with our students that they will be in touch very soon about arranging visits for all students.
